Helen E. Schuster, LCSW
Ms. Schuster is a licensed psychotherapist and clinical social worker providing services to individuals, couples and families. She received her Masters degree from Barry University in Miami and is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. Ms. Schuster specializes in the treatment of anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD and depression. In her current pratice, Ms. Schuster also works with issues related to adjustment disorder, trauma, grief, life transitions and LGBT concerns.
Ms Schuster is a member of The Anxiety Disorders Association of America and a past member of The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She has served as Clinical Director of a participating screening site in the National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day which is held annually in May throughout the United States and, upon invitation, presented a paper at the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Dual Diagnosis.
Ms. Schuster is originally from the Northeast, but has lived and practiced in Miami for more than 20 years. She currently lives in The Villages with her husband.
